Writing photography promotes visual literacy, where the power of photography and writing are combined so that you learn to tell your story or the story of the world around you. Participants will be given the opportunity to work with their cameras and make images around themes such as self, family, community, dreams and the environment. Writing photography interconnects photo-based image making with diverse kinds of writing from poetry to personal narratives and the scenes photographed serve as the catalyst for verbal and written expression. Bring you camera and some special photos.
