Barista

In our intensive 2.5 hour group barista class, students will learn how to tell if the espresso extraction is correct, what to do if it's not, and how to properly steam milk.

This Skill set provides the skills and knowledge required for a Barista making coffee and interacting with customers and colleagues in a cafe, bar, hotel or restaurant setting. These competencies from the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package (SIT07) meet skills required to be a barista in the hospitality industry.
